The Little Girl and the Snails
“The Lettuce of the snails” arises in a line of ceramic thought that recovers the ancient technique of reproduction of plant elements, by direct mold. Thus is born by the drawing of the laboratory a dish in the form of lettuce, accompanied by a story, signed by the creative César Sousa and remarkably illustrated by the artist João Cabaço, seeking together in the origin of the term “Alfacinhas” the narrative for this piece.
“The snail lettuce” created and manufactured in Caldense territory, is composed of a dish to serve snacks in faience created through the technique of direct mold, conformation by finger filling and application of rubber manually. It is also a glassy piece and painted manually with two shades of green, and adorned with a snail and two indispensable sticks of the Portuguese brand Champions. The part allows washing in the washing machine and the use of the microwave.
The packaging of “The lettuce of the snails” is also the cover of the story that contains the piece, visually wrapped in an exclusive illustration and in the summary of the tale that accompanies it. In Portuguese and English.
